If you find the image to be a bit washed out, or the cells not well defined, you can adjust the factory default brightness and contrast setting to improve the quality of the image.
- Try to focus on the cells and adjust the brightness as best as possible, then double-click on the ‘Specular’ box on the top left.
- Move the sliders up and down until the image has better brightness and contrast.
- Once you find the best picture click OK save the settings. When the Brightness and Contrast setting is saved it will be set as the new default, and no further adjustment is needed next time you use the software.
