If a record has a typo, or needs to be de-identified, it can be edited within the CellChek software.
To edit a record, you must first go into the Settings / Tools section from the Main Menu and enter the "Admin" password to unlock this ability. (In the older CellChek software versions with TEXT buttons, instead of graphical icons like below, there is no admin password. Skip to step 6.)
- From the CellChek software's main menu, click the Tools button on the top right

- On the Tools screen, click the "ADMIN" button within the right section.

- Enter the CellChek software's admin password into the password field.

If you do not know the password, you can submit a request for us to send you the default or to reset yours. Medical regulations do not allow us to publically publish such information.
- Once the admin password has been entered, return to the main menu by clicking the Exit Tools button.

- On the main menu, click the Search button to find the records you wish to edit.

- Highlight the record you wish to edit and double-click on the information displayed on the top left - this will open an editable record. Each record will need to be edited individually.
